In 1949, He was born in Osaka Prefecture. After graduating from prefectural high school, he majored in forest chemistry at Tokyo university of Education (present University of Tsukuba) for his undergraduate and graduate degrees. In 1973, he broke into the patent industry in Tokyo, and then in 1976 he passed the patent attorney examination. In 1978, he founded KIYOHARA & CO., PATENT ATTORNEYS in Kita Ward, Osaka City. Since then, he has dedicated himself to patent professional service for half a century.
